Kid Friendly Events

It’s Polar Express time! In December, WaumbaLand (a fun and interactive children’s ministry) at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood FL (a kid-friendly church) presents:
The Polar Express Interactive Movie Event – a fun night for both kids and parents. Kids come in their pajamas and bring their mats, blankets or sleeping bags. After the children have dinner, they’ll watch the Polar Express in the chapel, complete with hot chocolate, cookies and guest appearances from the conductor, the hobo, and of course Santa Claus!
$10 per person (includes dinner for kids and appetizers and adult beverages for parents).

Presented by WaumbaLand – our church Children’s Ministries, Family Art Night is a time for families to have fun, connect, create art and make memories. Check out a past year’s Family Art Night Flyer here to get an idea of what it is like.  We’ll have art projects for kids to do individually with the assistance of our volunteers and projects for families to do together.
Dinner for kids and parents, and adult beverages are included.
$15 per child – free for parents.
Event date/time: A Friday night during the month of September starting at 6:00 PM
Location: Church Patio (we will move indoors if it rains)
1530 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood FL 33020.

Hollywood Learning Centers, our Preschool and Daycare present a children’s Halloween movie in our
Pumpkin Patch each year.

We also have lots of Fall Festival and Halloween Activities during our annual Fall Festival in the Pumpkin Patch in late October each year, beginning at 5:30 PM.
